Christian Louboutin might be renowned for his killer heels but his latest piece of footwear fashion might be best left on the shelf to merely admire.
Inspired by a prima ballerina’s most important accessory, the French designer created the pumps to raise money for the English National Ballet.
The eight-inch heels feature Louboutin’s trade mark red soles and are studded with Swarovski crystals.
The 47-year-old’s masterpiece is on display in the Shoes For Show – The Sculptural art of High Heels exhibition in Brick Lane, East London.
And he said of the slipper: ‘Isn’t the classical dancing ballet slipper the ultimate heel’?
‘The heel which makes dancers closer than any other women to the sky, to heaven?’ The Sun reported.
Other artists showing at the exhibition include British Fashion Awards winner Nicholas Kirkwood, whose heeled artwork is titled Alice in Wonderland Heels.

LOVE LOVE Edward and Bella those books sure do sux ( no pun) you in, dont they .I didnt think i had time to read so i downloaded them on to my ipod so when i was runnnig i could listen to them , well let me tell you i have never been so fit in the time i was goin though listening to those books . i would run and run and run and after about 1 hour into it would think , i should stop before i puke , i was clearly taken by the book and its charcters !!
