Stuart Weitzman & Beyonce’s Dancing Shoes

After thousands of high intensity, intricate choreographed performances by Beyonce and her dancers, it’s amazing to consider that these women are dancing in HEELS! And we’re not just talking about Liza Minnelli’s jazz character shoes, we’re talking about full out sexy, gravity defying, jaw dropping stilettos!

Beyonce looked to no one other than Stuart Weitzman to meet her tall order of customizing 50-60 shoes for her present tour.Weitzman stated that “I’ve been doing shoes for so long for her, we’ve learned what she needs,” naming a list that includes heels “of a special width for her to dance on,” rubberized soles “so she’s not slippin’ and slidin’ around” as well as extra padding inside.

From jeweled pumps and ankle boot lace-ups with metal trim, to thigh high military influenced boots. Weitzman has committed himself to creating ultra sexy designs with three principal forms and lots of colors for the dancing and singing phenom herself, Beyonce- or Mrs. Carter to be exact.-3

The Hidden Shoes at the Emmy’s

In most “Best Dressed” lists, the shoes are rarely, if ever included. However, there are four women who attended the 2012 Emmy’s that at least mentioned their shoe designer. Although their shoes are not on the forefront, it’s satisfying to know which designer they chose to tie their look together. The hidden shoes are still very much a part of their ensemble.
